Roy Memorial Park is a multi-function recreation area. Nestled under tall pine trees our residents enjoy meticulously maintained baseball fields, a recently updated basketball court with new backboards, rims, poles and nets. Younger children enjoy the play area with various playground equipment, including a renovated swing set and additional pieces being added each year.
INSERT school walk
The entire middle school walks over 3 miles each way (from school to the park and back) to raise money in honor of Terry Fox and loved ones that have passed. The money is donated to a local cancer center. It is an annual tradition.
